10.2 Editing user groups

This section describes how to edit an editing user group. You can edit the user group name, the users who belong to the user group, and other properties.

Who can perform this task:

To edit a user group:

  1. In the left pane of the Administration window, click User Groups.

  2. In the right pane (User Groups tab) of the Administration window, select the user group you want to edit, and then click the Edit User Group button.

  3. In the Edit User Group dialog box, edit the name, description, users, and resource groups as needed, and then click the OK button.

  4. In the Information dialog box, click the OK button.

The new user group settings take effect.

You can check the new settings by clicking the name of the user group in the User Groups tab and then clicking the Edit Resource Group button.
