A communication timeout value is defined in the development environment. For SOAP adapters and Session Bean adapters, the communication timeout value for establishing a connection to service components can be changed in the operating environment. To change the timeout value of a service component in the operating environment, use the cscsvcctl command. Note that the service target adapter must be in an undeployed state.
