Appendix J.9 Creating an archive file

In the environment prior to migration, create an archive file (EAR file, WAR file, or EJB-JAR file) in the project during the execution of the building process. In WTP, the archive file is not created during the building process. Therefore, if you want to create an archive file, use the export functionality of WTP.

Reference note
In an EAR project (exploded archive format), an archive is not created when executing the building process.

This section describes how to create an archive file.
