Note the following points when you start and stop a J2EE server:

• When a J2EE server is started without using a WTP connector, an error might occur if the WTP connector is operated. Before operating a J2EE server by using a WTP connector, check whether the J2EE server to be operated is stopped.
• You cannot use the J2EE Server monitoring functionality and Change location functionality in Eclipse. Do not choose the Add button on the Monitoring page or the Switch location button on the General page.
• Do not consecutively execute (such as by pushing buttons) the J2EE server start, debug, and stop operations because this might cause an error.
• An error might occur if you exit Eclipse while the J2EE server is running.
