To register Cosminexus J2EE server runtime:
- From the bar, choose Window, and then Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box appears.

(1) Notes on creating server runtime
Note the following points when creating server runtime:
- If the JDK provided by Developer is not registered on the Installed JRE page, it will be automatically registered when creating Cosminexus J2EE server runtime. However, if you register the server runtime with the following procedure, JDK provided by Developer will not be registered automatically:
- In the left pane of the Preferences dialog box, choose Java, and then Installed JRE. The Installed JRE page appears.
- In the left pane of the Preferences dialog box, choose Server, and then Runtime environment. The Server Runtime Environment page appears.
- Register J2EE server runtime.
If you have registered Cosminexus J2EE server runtime by following this procedure, delete the registered Cosminexus J2EE server runtime once. Open the Preferences dialog box and register J2EE Server Runtime without displaying the Installed JRE page.
Note that when you uninstall Developer, the auto-registered JDK provided by Developer is not removed. Delete the JDK provided by Developer as and when required.
- Even if you click the Search button on the Server Runtime Environment page of the Preferences dialog box, Cosminexus J2EE server runtime is not searched.
- Do not select the Edit button or the Remove button when Cosminexus J2EE server runtime is being used in a server or a project.
