The Application Data directory is not displayed by default.

To display the Application Data directory, change the view settings as follows:

1. Double-click the My Computer icon.
2. From the Tools menu, choose Folder Options.
3. From the View tab, select the Advanced area's Show hidden files and folder option.
4. Click the OK button.

These settings can also be changed from Windows Explorer or Control Panel's Folder Options.

You can also manage log data by generation. The default generation count is 0. If you set the number 1 or above, the last 2 characters of the file name will be replaced with the generation number.

Example

Setting 1 :  RcHstC01.log
Setting 20:  RcHstC20.log

When the number of lines in a log file exceeds the maximum, a new log file xxxxxx01.log is created and the old log file is renamed xxxxxx02.log (xxxxxx is the first six characters of the log file name). Thereafter, each time a new log file is created, the generation number at the end of the old log file name increases by one. When the number of created generations exceeds the maximum, the oldest log file is deleted.

This section describes, with an output example, the logging format when the remote control facility is used.

(a) Counter section

Represents the line number for which a log has been output. Columns 1 to 10 contain the counter section's header, and columns 12 to 15 contain the final logging number. For example, in DATA COUNT 0007, DATA COUNT is the header, and 0007 represents the final output line number.

(b) Log information section

The log information section is from the second line onwards. It is comprised of the log's line number, the output date and time, and the log information. They are described in the following format:

Format

0001 MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss:nnn log-type IP-address log-information

0001

Represents the line number in a value between 0001 and 9999. Set in columns 1 to 4.

MM/DD/YYYY

Represents the date. Set in columns 7 to 16.

hh:mm:ss:nnn

Represents the time. nnn indicates a value in milliseconds. Set in columns 18 to 29.

log-type

Represents the type of the log. Set in columns 33 to 43.

  Indicates information.
  
• Warning
  Indicates a warning.
  
• Error
  Indicates an error.
  

IP-address

Set in columns 45 to 60.

log-information

Set in columns 62 to 161 (99 characters). If the actual log information is shorter than 99 characters, blank spaces are added so that the information will be output in 99 characters.
