You can use one of the following two methods to uninstall the remote control program:

• Uninstall from the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs
• Uninstall by selecting the Remove option of the maintenance wizard

In both methods, the Confirm File Deletion dialog box is displayed during the process. Click the OK button to start uninstallation. When the uninstallation finishes, the Maintenance Complete dialog box is displayed.

This subsection gives notes on uninstallation.

• The operation of the JP1/Remote Control uninstallation varies depending on the program folder where the icon is registered. Be careful of the following points.
  
  • When the icon is registered to the default program folder:
    During uninstallation, the default program folders (JP1_Remote Control Manager and JP1_Remote Control Agent) and the program icons are deleted. Therefore, do not store other program icons in the JP1_Remote Control Manager and JP1_Remote Control Agent program folders.
    
  • When the icon is registered to a user-specified program folder:
    During the uninstallation, all the JP1/Remote Control icons are deleted, but the program folder remains. You have to manually delete the program folder to remove it.
