7.2 Managing the temporary job storehouse

This section describes how to manage the temporary job storehouse of the relay system, which is used when distributing packages with the ID group specified.

When you execute a job with an ID group, the job is stored in the temporary job storehouse and the package is stored in the temporary package storehouse until the expiration date. When the package is deleted from the temporary package storehouse due to expiration (or the temporary package storehouse being initialized), the job for the deleted package is invalidated. In this case, that job needs to be deleted.

Two methods are available to delete jobs in the temporary job storehouse. Set either method in IDCommandDeleteTiming in the settings file of the client services.

• Automatically delete a job when the corresponding package is deleted from the temporary package storehouse
  To use this method, specify RESOURCE_DELETE (default).
  
• The user instructs to delete the target job from the managing server or executes the command in a relay system to delete the job.
  To use this method, specify MANUAL.
