7.2.1 When RESOURCE_DELETE is specified

When a package is deleted from the temporary package storehouse, JP1/Software Distribution Client automatically deletes the corresponding job in the temporary job storehouse. JP1/Software Distribution Client also deletes the job waiting to be installed in the distribution-destination system that belongs to the ID group of the deleted job. After the job is deleted, JP1/Software Distribution Client reports to the managing server that the job is deleted. If the job management file of the managing server records the execution result of the job specified with the ID group, the job is also deleted from the job management file.

Before packages are deleted from the temporary package storehouse, you can delete unnecessary jobs from the temporary job storehouse. The following two methods are available:

When a job is deleted from the temporary job storehouse with the rdsgroupid command of the client services, the job is also deleted from the job management file.
