3. Remote Collection

Remote collection refers to collection at the managing server of resources such as installed packages and execution results residing on a distribution-destination system. The files to be collected must not exceed 2 gigabytes before or after collection.

This chapter explains file collection divided into 3 steps, registration of the attributes of the collection files, collection of the packaging-information file, and the usage of the collected files.
