3.4 Reuse of collected resources

At the managing server, you can retrieve (copy) a collected resource in the user environment, and then access or process that resource. You can also convert a collected resource into a package for distribution to other systems. For information about using collected resources at the managing server, see the appropriate managing server manual for your system.

Note that only archived resource files can be converted into packages after collection. If you plan to package a collected resource, be sure to collect the resource as archived files.
