4.4.3 Editing a template

You can use the Template Management window to edit an existing template to create a new template.

To use the Template Management window to create a new template by modifying an existing one:

  1. From View, choose Template Management Window.
    The Template Management window appears.
  2. Right-click on the template you want to edit to display a pop-up menu. In this menu, choose Edit Template.
    The current conditions are displayed in the Condition Settings dialog box.
  3. Set desired display or count conditions.
    For details about how to set conditions, see 4.2.3 Examples of count condition settings and count results.
  4. Click the Next button.
    The current settings of view items are displayed in the View Items Settings dialog box.
  5. Set the inventory items you want to display.
    For details about how to set the items you want to display, see 4.2.4 Setting the view items.
  6. Click the Save button.
    The Save Template dialog box appears.
  7. Specify a name for the template and where you want to save the template, and then click the OK button.
    If you assign the same name, the existing template is replaced with the new one. If you assign a different name, a new template is created.
    You cannot save a display template in a count template folder, nor can you save a count template in a display template folder.
