8.1 Steps for troubleshooting

If a problem occurs in JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant, you should take actions according to the following procedure:

  1. Checking events
    Check for what events occur if a problem is encountered. If a message has been displayed, check the contents of the message. For details about the cause of the message and the action to take, see 9.2 Messages. For details about the logs that are output by JP1/AJS3 - Web Operation Assistant, see 8.2 Log information.
  2. Collecting the information
    You need to collect information to determine the cause of the problem. See 8.3 Information that must be collected in the event of a problem and 8.4 Method for collecting information to collect necessary information.
  3. Investigating the problem
    Determine the cause of the problem based on the collected information and isolate the problem or all the areas affected by the problem.
