4.4 Select Hosts window

The Select Hosts window is used to select a host from a list for specification in the Host Registration, Edit Host Properties, or Edit IM Configuration window instead of entering the host name in the text box.

The following figure shows an example of the Select Hosts window.

The following describes the items displayed in the Select Hosts window.

Select host(s):

Lists hosts that can be selected. Hosts that have already been selected or cannot be selected are not listed.

The following table describes the items that are displayed in the Select host(s): area.

Table 4-12 Items displayed in the Select host(s) area

Item	Displayed information
Host	The name of the host registered in the system hierarchy
Host type	The type of the host registered in the system hierarchy. Physical host, Logical host, Virtual host, or Unknown can be displayed in the Host Type column.
Comment	A comment about the host registered in the system hierarchy

Selected host(s):

Lists the hosts that have already been selected.

The items displayed in the Selected host(s): area are the same as the items displayed in the Select host(s): area.

Add

Moves the host selected in the Select host(s): area to the Selected host(s): area.

Delete

Moves the host selected in the Selected host(s): area back to the Select host(s): area.
