Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management Planning and Configuration Guide
In Performance Management, an account called Performance Management user is used for managing the Performance Management system, and an account called JP1 user is used for managing with JP1/Base.
The following procedures describe how to create a Performance Management user account in order to manage the Performance Management system.
There are two types of permissions for Performance Management accounts:
- Administrator user permissions
- General user permissions
The available functions for each PFM - Web Console window depend on the permission. For details on the permissions, see the chapter that describes management of user accounts in the Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management User's Guide.
A Performance Management user account is created from the Users window in PFM - Web Console. The following example shows how to create a Performance Management user account called INT_ADMIN with administrator user permissions.
To create a user account with the administrator user permissions:
- In the navigation frame of the Main window, select the Users tab.
The Users window is displayed.
- In the method frame of the Users window, select the New User method.
The New User window is displayed.
- For User Name, enter INT_ADMIN.

A confirmation message is displayed if you enter a password that is made up of only alphabetic characters, numeric characters, or five characters or fewer. A message is also displayed when you enter a password that is the same as your user name.
- In Select permission level, select Management user.
