If you allocate multiple resource adapters, you can configure multi-tenancy by sharing the database (to restrain the increase in the number of databases) and partitioning the data for every tenant. You can set up Web front system that supports multi-tenancy by allocating multiple resource adapters and adding resource adapters to the J2EE server and enabling the reference of resource adapters from business applications.
The following figure shows an example of configuring a Web front system that supports multi-tenancy by allocating multiple resource adapters:
