To search the asset information:

  1. From the job menu, select the type of job you wish to execute (such as Device List).
The window for the selected job type appears.
  2. Using a simple search condition or by clicking the Browse button, select a desired group or location.
You can easily specify a search condition by selecting a desired group or location from the appropriate tree. Use the tab to toggle between the group and location trees.
To clear the specified condition, click the icon on the top of the tree.
  3. Specify other search conditions, in addition to group or location.
The possible search conditions depend on the job type. If you specify multiple search conditions, they are treated as AND conditions.
Searches performed by using the match part of the words, match beginning of the words, or match end of the words options in the drop-down menu, as well as searches for items under the including label such as user names, are case sensitive. However, if you use Embedded RDB, you can use the Server Setup dialog box to set the search to not be case sensitive. If you use Microsoft SQL Server, the collating sequence of the database is used so that you can also perform searches that are not case sensitive.
  4. Click the Search button.
A listing of the search results appears.
