You can use one of the following two methods to browse the collected operation information:
- Browsing in the Operation Log List window
In the Operation Log List window, you can browse a list of operation logs collected from all clients. You can also narrow the operation logs to browse by using detailed search conditions such IP address and duration in which operation logs were collected.
It is recommended that you use the Operation Log List window for browsing operation logs.
To use the Operation Log List window, you must install Asset Information Manager Subset.
To view operation logs in the Operation Log List window, you must store the acquired operation logs in the database. For details about the settings for storing operation logs in the database, see 4.2.14 Operating Monitoring page in the manual Setup Guide.
- Browsing in the Software Operation Information window
You can browse the operation logs for each client selected in the System Configuration window, the Destination or Directory Information window. You can also print or search through the logs being displayed.
None of the following operation logs can be viewed in the Software Operation Information window:
- Web accesses
- Print operations
- Print suppression
- Operations to or from external media
- USB media connection permission
- USB media connection suppression
- Device operations
- Device connection permission
- Device connection suppression
You must use the Operation Log List window to view these operation logs.
How to browse operation information in the Software Operation Information window is explained below. For details about how to browse operation information in the Operation Log List window, see 6.6 Using the Operation Log List window.
To display the Software Operation Information window:
- In the System Configuration, Destination or Directory Information window of Remote Installation Manager, select a client with the history you want to browse.
Do not select multiple clients because you cannot browse the history of multiple clients at once.
- From the Options menu, choose Software Operation Monitoring and then Browse Software Operation Information.
The Software Operation Information window appears.
