To browse a software operation log, in the left-hand pane of the Software Operation Information window, choose Operation log. The operation log of the client selected in the System Configuration, Destination or Directory Information window is displayed in the right-hand pane.

When you are browsing an operation log, you can perform the following operations in the Software Operation Information window:

• To print the operation log, from the File menu, choose Print.
• To copy a character string in the operation log, from the Edit menu, choose Copy.
• To search for a character string in the operation log, from the Edit menu, choose Search.
• To update the operation log, from the View menu, choose Update latest information.
• To browse an operation log saved in the operation history storage directory, take the following steps:
  
  1. From the Options menu, choose Setup of read destination folder.
  2. In the Setup of Read Destination Folder dialog box, specify the folder containing the operation log to be read.
     To specify a network drive in the Setup of Read Destination Folder dialog box, specify the target folder as a maximum of 127 characters in UNC format.
     
  3. From the View menu, choose Display saved data.
  After browsing a saved operation log, if you want to browse the operation log in the operation history storage directory, from the View menu, choose Display latest data.
  

  Note

  Once more than 560,000 operation logs have been saved for a client, operation log data is no longer displayed in the Software Operation Information window for that client.

  Periodically you may need to change the operation history backup directory on the basis of the daily number of operation logs per client so that the number of logs will never exceed 560,000.

• If the operation log of a client that was deleted from the system configuration has been saved and if you want to browse it, from the File menu, choose Open. You can browse the operation log by specifying the host ID of the client that was deleted from the system configuration or the directory with a name that is an operation key.
