4.1 Protection Manager Consoleの動作環境

Protection Manager Consoleの動作環境は，環境設定ファイルで設定します。

環境設定ファイルでは，次の項目を設定できます。

• Protection Manager Consoleのログ機能に関する設定
• Device Managerエージェントとの通信に関する設定
• バックアップジョブ管理に関する設定

環境設定ファイルの項目にはデフォルト値が設定されていますが，運用に合わせて適切な値に変更してください。Protection Manager Consoleの環境設定ファイルについては「4.2 Protection Manager Consoleの環境設定ファイル」および「4.3 環境設定ファイルの設定項目」を参照してください。

注意事項

Protection Manager Consoleを使用するには，Protection Manager Copy Controllerの環境設定が完了している必要があります。また，データベースのバックアップやリストアをする場合，対象となるDBMSに応じてProtection Manager for SQLまたはProtection Manager for Exchangeの環境設定が完了している必要があります。これらの製品の環境設定方法については，マニュアル「Hitachi Protection Manager Software ユーザーズガイド」を参照してください。
