1.3.2 データベースを対象とする場合のシステム構成

Protection Manager Copy ControllerおよびProtection Manager Consoleがインストールされた業務サーバに，Protection Manager for SQLまたはProtection Manager for Exchangeをインストールすることで，SQL ServerデータベースまたはExchangeデータベースを対象に画面からバックアップやリストアの処理を実行できます。

データベースを対象とする場合のシステム構成を次の図に示します。

業務サーバに必要なプログラムを次に示します。

Protection Manager Copy Controller（必須）
Protection Manager Consoleの前提製品です。Protection Manager Consoleをインストールする業務サーバに，Protection Manager Copy Controllerがインストールされている必要があります。

Protection Manager for SQL（オプション）
SQL Serverを使用したデータベースに対する操作をする場合に使用します。Protection Manager for SQLは，Protection Manager Copy Controllerと同じ業務サーバにインストールする必要があります。

Protection Manager for Exchange（オプション）
Exchange Serverを使用したデータベースに対する操作をする場合に使用します。Protection Manager for Exchangeは，Protection Manager Copy Controllerと同じ業務サーバにインストールする必要があります。

Java実行環境
Java実行環境として次のプログラムをインストールする必要があります。
  • Java Runtime Environment （JRE）　32ビット版　version 1.4.2，version 5.0（1.5.0），またはversion 6.0
