3.5 Functions for shared resource control
This section describes the functions used to connect and disconnect shared resources that are used by servers.
HA Monitor supports automatic switching of shared disks and LANs as shared resources. To switch other shared resources, the user must create a command. For details, see 3.5.2 Issuing commands when the server and HA Monitor status changes.
Note that the functions that are supported depend on the shared disk data protection method and whether the function for controlling hot standby based on the availability of LAN communications is used. For details, see 3.1 List of functions supported by HA Monitor.
