1.3 Types of hot standby

The following types of hot-standby switchover can be used with HA Monitor:

• Automatic hot-standby switchover: HA Monitor automatically performs hot-standby switchover.

• Planned hot-standby switchover: The operator intentionally performs hot-standby switchover.

• Forced hot-standby switchover: The operator forcibly performs hot-standby switchover.
