Notes
-
The monressbystp command can be used only for resource servers that are on standby. You can execute the monressbystp command only from a standby system.
-
Normally, there is no need to use the monressbystp command because a resource server on standby is terminated automatically when all its child servers have terminated.
-
Use the monressbystp command only when hot standby processing can be performed on the resource server and you want to terminate only the resource server that is on standby. Note that if any child server of the resource server on standby is running, execution of the monressbystp command will fail.
-
The return code is also set to 0 when any of the following messages is issued while type2 is specified in the exitcode operand in the HA Monitor environment settings:
KAMN221-E, AMN322-E, KAMN329-E, KAMN465-E, KAMN958-E, KAMN963-E
