Either of the following messages is output, and attempts to access the resource manager fail.

KFCA00906-E error occurred while accessing resource manager.

KFCA00907-E error on XA function of resource manager.

• The date and time when the event occurred
• The name of the user server where the event occurred
• The history of operations on the user server
• Any changes made to the OpenTP1 environment immediately before the event occurred

• The information in Table 11-1

The messages KFCA00906-E and KFCA00907-E are output when an attempt to access a resource manager fails. For linking with outside resource managers (such as Oracle and HiRDB), OpenTP1 uses the industry-standard XA interface to access these resource managers.

These error messages are output based on information that is returned by the resource manager, not generated by OpenTP1. For this reason, any investigation of this type of error must take place on the resource manager. Use these flow charts to narrow down the cause of the problem, and contact the Support Center for OpenTP1 or the resource manager if necessary.
