This section explains the environment setup procedure up to the point immediately before OpenTP1 operation begins. The OS administrator (the superuser) begins setup of the OpenTP1 environment. The OpenTP1 system administrator registered by the superuser continues the setup procedure.

Use of the following OpenTP1 functions requires a special procedure for each product in addition to the normal environment setup procedure:

• TP1/Message Control
• TP1/Messaging
• TP1/Message Queue
• TP1/NET/OSI-TP-ExtendedTP1/Message Control
