5.38 All Relations pane

Use the All Relations pane to view the list of available relation(s) between servers, create new relation(s) between server(s), and delete relation(s).

The All Relations pane displays the following dynamic item:

Relations count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of available relations.

The All Relations pane displays the following All Relations items in a tabular format:

Relation Selector

Displays a check box for each relation(s) listed in the Name column. If the header check box of the Relation Selector column is selected or cleared, then all the check boxes of the Relation Selector column are selected or cleared respectively.

Name

Displays the name of the relation. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Relation Type Name

Displays the relation type for all the relation(s) listed in the Name column. The following are the available relation types:

  • Performance Tracer
  • Redirector

This column can be sorted.

Target Server

Displays the target server names of the relation(s) listed in the Name column.

Related server/Cluster

Displays the related server or cluster names of the relation(s) listed in the Name column.

The All Relations pane displays the following action items:

New button

To create a redirector or a performance tracer relation between server(s), click the New button to display the Add Relation dialog box, specify the required details, and then click the OK button.

Delete button

To delete a relation, click the Delete button to display the Delete Relation dialog box, and then click the OK button. This button is disabled until you select any of the relation(s) using the Relation Selector check box.
