5.31 JDBC Connection Pool JDBC Resource tab

Use the JDBC Connection Pool JDBC Resource tab to view the JDBC resource(s) of the selected JDBC connection pool and enable or disable all the JDBC resources and a specific JDBC resource. You can also test the connection of the selected JDBC connection pool.

The JDBC Connection Pool JDBC Resource tab displays the following dynamic items:

Sub title

Displays the name of the selected JDBC connection pool.

JDBC Resource count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of JDBC resources associated with the selected JDBC connection pool.

The JDBC Connection Pool JDBC Resource tab displays the following JDBC Resource items in a tabular format:

JNDI Name

Displays a list of all the JDBC resources (as a link). Click this link to display the general information of the corresponding JDBC resource. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Description

Displays the description of the resource(s) listed in the JNDI Name column. If the description is not available for a resource, then the description is blank. This column can be sorted.

Target

Displays information of the targets (as a link) associated with the JDBC resource. Click this link to display the corresponding JDBC Resource Target tab. The display format of the target information is "Enabled on count of targets on which resource is enabled of count of targets associated with the resource Target(s)". This column can be sorted.

Enabled

Displays a check box for each JDBC resource(s) listed in the JNDI Name column. If the JDBC resource is enabled on at least one target, then the corresponding check box is selected. If the JDBC resource is disabled on any of its targets, then the corresponding check box is cleared. To enable a JDBC resource, select the corresponding Enabled check box to display the Enable JDBC Resource dialog box, and then click the OK button. To disable a JDBC resource, clear the corresponding Enabled check box to display the Disable JDBC Resource dialog box, and then click the OK button. This column can be sorted.

The JDBC Connection Pool JDBC Resource tab displays the following action items:

Enable All button

To enable all the JDBC resources listed in the JNDI Name column, click the Enable All button to display the Enable JDBC Resource dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Disable All button

To disable all the JDBC resources listed in the JNDI Name column, click the Disable All button to display the Disable JDBC Resource dialog box, and then click the OK button.

Ping Connection Pool button

To confirm whether a connection test performed on the JDBC connection pool has succeeded or failed, click the Ping Connection Pool button to display the Connection Test dialog box.
