4.7 All Servers pane (Table View)

Use the All Servers pane (Table View) to view all the server(s) in a tabular form. You can also view the nodes and configurations of server(s) and the total number of application(s) and resource(s) associated with each server.

The All Servers pane (Table View) displays the following dynamic item:

All Servers count

Displays (within parentheses) the total number of server(s) configured in the domain.

The All Servers pane (Table View) displays the following items in a tabular format:

Name

Displays the name (as a link) of the available web server(s), Performance Tracer server(s), and clustered and non-clustered Java EE server(s). Click this link to display the general information of the corresponding server. By default, this column is sorted in ascending order.

Configuration

Displays the name of the Java EE configuration (along with a link button) associated with the selected Java EE server(s) listed in the Name column. Click this link button to display the corresponding Java EE Configurations pane in the Configuration tab. This column displays a hyphen (-) for non-Java EE server(s) in the Name column. This column can be sorted.

Number of Applications

Displays the total number of applications deployed on each server(s) listed in the Name column. This column displays a hyphen (-) for non-Java EE server(s) in the Name column. This column can be sorted.

Number of Resources

Displays the total number of resources associated with each server(s) listed in the Name column. This column displays a hyphen (-) for non-Java EE server(s) in the Name column. This column can be sorted.

Node

Displays the name of the node (along with a link button) associated with the corresponding server(s) listed in the Name column. Click this link button to display the general information of the corresponding node in the Node General pane (in the Configuration tab). This column can be sorted.

The All servers pane (Table View) displays the following action items:

Topology View button

To display all the available server(s) in the domain in the topology form, in the All servers display area, click the Topology View button.

Table View button

To display all the available server(s) in the domain in a tabular form, in the All servers display area, click the Table View button.

Start All button

To start all the servers, click the Start All button to display the Start Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

Stop All button

To stop all the servers, click the Stop All button to display the Stop Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

Restart All button

To restart all the servers, click the Restart All button to display the Restart Server dialog box, and then click the OK button. If there are no server(s) configured in the domain, then this button is disabled.

Snapshot button

To capture a snapshot of all the server(s), click the Snapshot button to display the Take Snapshot dialog box, and then click the OK button to immediately close the Take Snapshot dialog box and start the snapshot process. The Snapshot button is disabled until the snapshot process completes. While the snapshot of all server(s) is being captured, you can perform other operations in the Administration Console. After completion of the snapshot process, the success or failure message is updated in the Messages pane of the Home tab and Management tab. After successful completion of the snapshot process, the logs are backed up at Application Server-install-dir/javaee/snapshot/.
