4.1 Management tab

Use the Management tab to manage the Domain Administration Server (DAS), clustered and non-clustered Java EE server(s), Web server(s) and Performance Tracer server(s), cluster(s) available in the domain, application(s) deployed on the Java EE server(s) or the DAS, and resource(s) associated with the Java EE server(s) or the DAS. You can also view the information of the messages pertaining to the DAS and all the Java EE servers.

The Management tab displays the following items:

Navigation pane

Displays useful links (in a tree structure) to configure the Domain Administration Server (DAS), server(s), cluster(s), node(s), application(s), resource(s), configurations(s), and relation(s). By default, the All Servers node is selected.

Information pane

Displays information based on the selection made in the Navigation pane. By default, the All Servers pane (Topology View) is displayed.

Messages pane

Displays the messages from the servers.

The Management tab displays the following action item:

Refresh/Auto Refresh button

To reload the active Management tab with the latest data obtained from the server, click the Refresh/Auto Refresh button. This tab is refreshed automatically, after a specific time interval, only when the Messages pane in the Management tab check box is selected in the Auto Refresh pane (in the Settings tab). If the Auto refresh setting for the Messages pane in the Management tab check box is selected, then the display of the Refresh button changes to the Auto refresh button [Figure].
