2.1 Overview of linking mail systems
In JP1/AJS3, you can define jobs for sending emails. You can also define monitoring jobs that detect the reception of emails under certain conditions, as an event.
By linking with a mail system, you can:
-
Execute a job when an email matching specific conditions is received.
In this case, define an email reception monitoring job followed by the job you want to execute.
-
Use part of the information in a received email in the succeeding job.
In this case, in the email reception monitoring job and the succeeding job, define the information passing.
-
Send email to the administrator if a job ends abnormally.
In this case, define an email sending job following that job as a recovery job.
