3.3.1 Notes on changing the host name or IP address

(1) Notes on changing the host name of the host running JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant

Check the server host name mapped to the JP1 user for using JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant specified on JP1/Base on the manager host at the connection destination, and change the server host name as necessary.

(2) Notes on changing the IP address of the host running JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant

If the manager host at the connection destination is using a function that restricts connections, check the connection permission configuration file, and change the values as necessary.

(3) Notes on changing the host name or IP address of the manager host at the JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant connection destination

Check the hosts file for the host running JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant to verify whether a manager host is set for the connection destination, and change the value as necessary.

When changing the host name of the manager host at the connection destination, check the server host name mapped to the JP1 user for using JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant specified on JP1/Base on the manager host at the connection destination, and change the server host name as necessary.

Check the following environment settings parameters in the JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant environment settings file (ajs2da.conf), and change the values as necessary:

If the encrypted communication function is enabled in JP1/AJS3 - Definition Assistant, check the contents of the unencrypted communication host settings file, and change the values as necessary.
