15.2.7 Monthly Schedule screen
On the Monthly Schedule screen, you can check the unit execution schedule on a monthly basis. You can also add and change execution schedules.
The following figure shows the Monthly Schedule screen.
The Monthly Schedule screen consists of three main areas:
- Tree area
-
The tree area displays, in a tree layout, the jobnet selected on the Dashboard or List screen and the units under the jobnet.
- Schedule area
-
In the schedule area, you can check monthly unit execution schedules.
The schedule area displays icons that indicate execution schedules. The shape of each icon varies according to the type of execution registration and execution schedule, as follows:
The square : an execution schedule registered for planned execution or immediate execution
The circle : an execution schedule registered for fixed execution
The triangle : an unregistered execution schedule
Each icon appears on the execution day of the corresponding execution schedule. For details about the execution day, see 3.3.1 Time formats and schedule rules for root jobnets in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Overview.
If a unit is executed multiple times in a day (that is, multiple execution generations of the unit exist in the day), only the last execution generation in the day is indicated by an icon.
- List area
-
The list area lists all generations of the execution schedule of the unit selected in the schedule area. Note that this area displays only the execution schedule for the execution day selected in the schedule area.
The start dates and times differ depending on whether execution simulation is performed. If you have configured the system to not perform execution simulation, the start dates and times will differ from those displayed in the Dashboard screen, in which execution simulation is always performed. You can specify whether to perform execution simulation in the Setting dialog box. Jobnets that have never been run are simulated as if they require 1,200 seconds to run.
If you select a unit or execution schedule, and then click a button at the top of the screen, you can perform an operation for the unit or execution schedule. The following table describes the operations that can be performed by using these buttons.

Cautionary notes
-
The Monthly Schedule screen is not refreshed automatically. To update displayed information, click the refresh button (). If you want to cancel refreshing, click the cancel button ().
-
When you select a unit (icon) in the Schedule area of the Monthly Schedule screen, the information in the Schedule area might not match the information in the List area. This is because selecting an icon causes the latest information to be displayed in the List area, but it does not refresh the Schedule area. If the information in the Schedule area and List area does not match, click the Refresh button to update the contents of the Monthly Schedule screen.
-
If the addition or deletion of units results in changes to the unit definition after the Monthly Schedule screen is displayed, click the Refresh button to update the contents of the Monthly Schedule screen.
-
You cannot display the Monthly Schedule screen for the following purposes:
-
To display a root jobnet that includes a unit (a jobnet or job) for which your JP1 resource group does not have reference permission
-
To display a release-target unit under a root jobnet that includes a unit (a jobnet or job) for which your JP1 resource group does not have reference permission
-
To display a unit that specifies, in the reference calendar, a job group for which your JP1 resource group does not have reference permission
-
To display a unit that specifies, in the exclusive schedule, a job group for which your JP1 resource group does not have reference permission
-
-
If there are many units and generations to be displayed, it might take time to display the Monthly Schedule screen.
-
Before changing the definition of the base date or base time, unregister the jobnets registered for execution. If you change the base date or base time without unregistering those jobnets, the Monthly Schedule screen might incorrectly display execution results and schedule information generated based on fixed execution registration. To correctly display execution results and schedule information, cancel the registration of the jobnet and re-register the jobnet for execution.
