11.7.8 Keeping a nested jobnet selected after moving up in the hierarchy
You can configure the Jobnet Monitor window to keep a nested jobnet selected in the map area when you move the view to a higher level in the hierarchy. This allows you to easily identify which nested jobnet was selected in the map area before you moved the view.
Moving the view to a higher level refers to the following operations:
-
Selecting Upper Jobnet from the View menu in the Jobnet Monitor window.
-
In the tree area, clicking the upper-level jobnet or the minus (-) sign next to the upper-level jobnet.
-
Pressing the Backspace key when the focus is in the map area.
-
Pressing the left or up arrow key when the focus is in the tree area.
- Specify from:
-
A JP1/AJS3 - View file (User-specified option file)
For details, see 11.1.1 Types of customization methods.
- Specification
-
Use the following format:
jajsSelectMapAreaJobnet={Yes|No} (return)
Specify No if you do not wish to keep nested jobnets selected in the map area when you move the view to a higher level in the hierarchy. To keep the nested jobnet selected, specify Yes.
The default is Yes. If you omit this setting, Yes is assumed.
- Supplementary notes
-
-
The units that can remain selected in the map area after you move up in the hierarchy are nested jobnets and nested remote jobnets.
-
If you have configured JP1/AJS3 - View to display comments in the map area, the comment will also be selected.
-
If you use the mouse to move two or more levels up in the hierarchy, of the jobnets defined directly under the jobnet to which you moved, the jobnet that contains the nested jobnet that was displayed before the move will be selected in the map area. If you move to a higher level in the hierarchy that does not include the original nested jobnet among its descendant units, the nested jobnet will not be selected in the map area.
-
- Example
-
To prevent nested jobnets from remaining selected in the map area when you move the view to a higher level in the hierarchy:
jajsSelectMapAreaJobnet=No (return)
