JP1 Version 13 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide

11.2.8 Allowing each JP1 user to use different custom jobs and custom event jobs

You can set JP1/AJS3 to allow each JP1 user to use different custom jobs and custom event jobs.

By saving the custom job registration information and the custom event job registration information for each JP1 user in a separate folder, different custom jobs and custom event jobs can be displayed in the Jobnet Editor window for each JP1 user who is logged in.

Custom jobs are displayed in the Custom Jobs tab of the icon list in the Jobnet Editor window. This tab displays only the custom jobs that are registered in the folder that contains the custom job registration information for the JP1 user who is currently logged in. This folder is called the custom job registration information folder. For JP1 users who share the same custom job registration information folder, the same custom jobs are displayed in the icon list.

Likewise, custom event jobs are displayed in the Custom Events tab of the icon list in the Jobnet Editor window. This tab displays only the custom event jobs that are registered in the folder that contains the custom event job registration information for the JP1 user who is currently logged in. This folder is called the custom event job registration information folder. For JP1 users who share the same custom event job registration information folder, the same custom event jobs are displayed in the icon list.

If the multiuser remote desktop connection function is enabled, we recommend that you set JP1/AJS3 to allow each JP1 user to use different custom jobs. For details about how to enable the multiuser remote desktop connection function, see 11.2.7 Allowing multiple users to concurrently use JP1/AJS3 - View via remote desktop connections.

To allow each JP1 user to use different custom jobs and custom event jobs, the following setting is necessary.

For details about how to specify the above settings, see the following sections.
