6.3 Defining a schedule

This section describes how to define the schedule of a jobnet. For schedule rules, see 3.3 Defining a schedule in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Overview.

You can also use the ajschgnet command to define schedules. For details of the command, see the description of ajschgnet in 3. Commands Used for Normal Operations in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Command Reference.

Cautionary note

Execute changes in schedule information when there are only a few tasks. When the schedule information is changed, the system suppresses the execution of root jobnets registered for execution in the same scheduler service as jobnets that change schedule information, which might impact tasks. However, for jobnets with start conditions whose status is Now monitoring before the change in definitions, if the start conditions are established then those jobnets will be executed.
