Cautionary notes
  • If no on-screen operations (including refreshing) are performed in the management portal for a certain length of time, the session times out. If the session times out, an error message appears, and the web browser closes. The session timeout period for the management portal can be specified by using the environment setting file (ajs3web.conf). The default is 15 minutes. For details about the environment settings file (ajs3web.conf) in Windows, see 3.4.3 Details on the settings in the environment-settings file (ajs3web.conf) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide. For details about the environment settings file (ajs3web.conf) in Linux, see 13.3.3 Details on settings in the environment-settings file (ajs3web.conf) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.

  • The web browser displaying the management portal does not close and displays the login screen if the Log Out is clicked or an error that closes the web browser (for example, the session was invalidated) occurs.

  • The web browser might fail to display the login screen if an error occurs when the management portal screen is being opened. In this case, manually close the web browser.
