This means a root jobnet for which the user has no permissions or a root jobnet (node) that lacks the tree SID.

When you hover over the icon, the tree path of the node is displayed in a tooltip.

Center node

The component (root jobnet) selected in the Operating status area, the Job flow tab, or the Related node tab is put in the middle of the window as the center node, and the relationships with other nodes are displayed. If the center node has no relationship with other nodes, only the center node is displayed. The center node is displayed enclosed in a blue frame.

The preceding root jobnets and succeeding root jobnets are displayed on the left and right of the center node on the window, respectively. If there is no preceding root jobnet or succeeding root jobnet, a gray node (UNKNOWN node) is displayed.

The Events area displays the information on the center node.

Root jobnet name

The name of the node is displayed as the root jobnet name. When you hover over a node, the tree path appears. If the full path is too long, the end of the path is replaced with an ellipsis (...).

When you click it, the root jobnet name turns blue, showing the information in the properties for Job flow area. Note that the component selected in the Operating status area remains unchanged.

Relationships between root jobnets

The relationships between root jobnets are represented with curved lines.

If a root jobnet has a looped connection to itself, the node is displayed at the right end and left end on the window as separate nodes.

Work impact icon

Shows if failures in the preceding root jobnets impact following root jobnets when failures occur, with one of the icons below.

There is no impact if no icon is displayed.

  • [Figure]: Impact: Yes

  • [Figure]: Unknown#

#: If this icon is configured in the Intelligent Integrated Management Base definition file not to be shown, a blank field is displayed.

When you hover over the icon, the meaning of the icon is displayed in a tooltip.

When you click the work impact icon, the information of the linked units for the relation line on which the icon is shown is displayed in the Linked unit dialog box. For details about the Linked unit dialog box, see the description in (b) Properties for job flow area.

Note that the Job flow tab can display relationships involving the same root jobnet repeatedly. For example, a definition to run root jobnet A, root jobnet B, and then root jobnet A results in the same root jobnet appearing repeatedly. Repeated nodes have the work impact icons individually, but all icons displayed on the nodes with the same root jobnet name open the Linked unit dialog box containing the same information. This means that you do not need to click every work impact icon displayed on repeated nodes to open the Linked unit dialog box.
