2.2.1 List of Integrated Agents window

The List of Integrated Agents window lists integrated agent host to be managed by Intelligent Integrated Management Base and add-on program that can be used for that host, so that the administrator knows about it.

If you need to remove integrated agent host from Intelligent Integrated Management Base managed, remove integrated agent host and add-on program associated with it. In addition, delete the trend data stored in the Trend data Management Database by Prometheus and Fluentd of the integrated agent host to be deleted. If you have user's own Prometheus or user's own Fluentd installed on your integrated agent host, the trend data is also deleted when they store trend data in Trend data Management Database.

You can also remove trend data stored in Trend data Management Database by integrated agent host's Prometheus and Fluentd, leaving Intelligent Integrated Management Base managed integrated agent host and the add-on features associated with it intact. If you have user's own Prometheus or user's own Fluentd installed on your integrated agent host, the trend data is also deleted when they store trend data in Trend data Management Database.

The items displayed in the List of Integrated Agents window are as follows.

Describes a criterion. A long description can be truncated and followed by an ellipsis (...). Click [Figure] to view the complete description. Click [Figure] to go back to the initial view.

Host name

Enter a text string up to 255 characters to filter the Integrated agent host list by host name.

You can enter single-byte alphanumeric characters, hyphens, and single-byte periods.

Search button

The host name in integrated agent host list is searched by a partial match of the character string entered in the text area of the Host name search, and the host that matches the criteria is displayed.

[Figure] button (previous page)

Displays the previous page the Integrated agent host list.

Display range

Displays the number of integrated agent that correspond to the search criteria and the displayed range of the current page in the format of x to y/z.

[Figure] button (next page)

Displays one page behind the Integrated agent host list.

Integrated agent host list

Lists integrated agent host that are requested to be registered by JP1/IM agent control base of integrated agent host and stored in Intelligent Integrated Management Database.

By default, host names are displayed in ascending order.

The maximum number of items displayed per page is 200. When the number of pages exceeds 200, use the Page button to switch between pages.

If there is no single data record to be displayed, NO DATA is displayed.

[Figure] Select All/Clear All check box

Select the check box in the header of the List of Unified Agent hosts to select all Unified Agent hosts on the page you are viewing. To deselect all, click to uncheck it.

If you want to select only a particular integrated agent host, select the individual check boxes.

Host name

Displays the host name of integrated agent host.

OS

Displays OS of integrated agent host.

(e.g. Windows, Linux)

Integrated agent version

Displays integrated agent version in integrated agent host.

Manager host name

Displays the host name of the manager managing integrated agent.

Registration date/time

Displays the date and time integrated agent host was registered.

The date and time are displayed in the format "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss" according to the time zone set in the Integrated Operation Viewer.

The registration date and time are updated when you start JP1/IM - Agent after the following tasks:

  • Installing JP1/IM - Agent

  • Upgrading JP1/IM - Agent

  • Deleting JP1/IM - Agent in the List of Integrated Agents window

Set Up Definition Files button

■When there is one check in the Select check boxes of the Integrated agent host list

Clicking this button displays the List of Definition Files(host-name) window for integrated agent host checked in the Integrated agent host list.

■If there is no check in the Select check boxes in the Integrated agent host list or there are more than one check box

This button is inactive.

Set Up Secrets button

■When there is one check in the Select check boxes of the Integrated agent host list

Clicking this button displays the List of Secrets dialog box for integrated agent host checked in the Integrated agent host list.

■If there is no check in the Select check boxes in the Integrated agent host list or there are more than one check box

This button is inactive.

Distribute alert configuration file button

■When there is one check in the Select check box of the Integrated agent host list

Clicking this button displays the Distribute alert configuration file dialog box for the hosts checked in the Integrated agent host List.

■When there is no one check in the Select check box of the Integrated agent host list

This button is inactive.

Delete button

■When the Select check box in the Integrated agent host list is checked

When you click this button, a message window will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the definition file. Clicking the OK button deletes the checked integrated agent host in the Integrated agent host list. In addition, any trend data stored in the Trend data Management Database by Prometheus and Fluentd of integrated agent host to be deleted will also be deleted. If you have user's own Prometheus or user's own Fluentd installed on your integrated agent host, the trend data is also deleted when they store trend data in Trend data Management Database.

Note

After deletion, the deleted information is not reflected in JP1/IM - Manager (Intelligent Integrated Management Base) tree information. To import tree information, you must generate and import tree information from integrated operation viewer, or execute jddcreatetree command and jddupdatetree command (specify the configuration change mode (-c option)).

This button is inactive.

Delete trend data button

■When the Select check box in Integrated agent host List is checked

Clicking this button displays a message to confirm deletion of the trend data of integrated agent. When you click the OK button, the trend data saved in the Trend data Management Database by Prometheus and Fluentd of the checked integrated agent host in the Integrated agent host List will be deleted. If you have user's own Prometheus or user's own Fluentd installed on your integrated agent host, the trend data is also deleted when they store trend data in Trend data Management Database.

Note

After deletion, the deleted information is not reflected in JP1/IM - Manager (Intelligent Integrated Management Base) tree information. To import tree information, you must generate and import tree information from integrated operation viewer, or execute jddcreatetree command and jddupdatetree command (specify the configuration change mode (-c option)).

Organization of this subsection

(1) The Distribute alert configuration file dialog box

The Distribute alert configuration file dialog box is used to specify alert configuration file to be distributed using alert configuration file batch distribution function.

The following items are displayed in the Distribute alert configuration file dialog box.

Select Files (*.yml)

Displays alert configuration file that you specified for upload.

The maximum size of a file that can be specified is 10MB.

Browse button

Display the input screen for specifying the file to upload. If the specified filename is not jpc_alerting_rules.yml, the KAJY68127-E message is displayed.

Upload button

The upload confirmation screen is displayed.

OK Click this button to upload the specified file and add the uploaded file to the definition file list.

If reading of the specified file fails, the KAJY00032-E message is displayed.

If there is no entry in the text area of Select Files (*. zip), this button is inactive. The following items are displayed in the Distribute alert configuration file dialog box.

(2) The List of distribution results dialog box

The List of distribution results dialog box displays the results of distribution using alert configuration file batch distribution function for each destination host.

The display items of the List of distribution results dialog box are shown below.

List of distribution results

The results of alert configuration file bulk distribution feature are displayed for each destination host. If all results cannot be displayed in the list, a scroll bar appears. Each item in the list can be sorted by item name.

If there is no single data record to be displayed, "NO DATA" is displayed.

Host name

Displays the host name of the destination host.

Distribution result

Displays the distribution results of the destination host. One of the following distribution results is displayed:

  • Distributing

  • During distribution

  • Distribution failure

  • Success

Message
  • When Distribution result is Distribution Failed

    The details of the error (the details of REST API returned) are displayed.

  • When Distribution result is Distributing, During Distribution or Success

    Nothing is displayed.
