3.3 Monitoring and Comparing Performance Status by Host

The dashboard allows you to monitor the entire system, as well as monitor specific departments of some of the systems.

For example, if your Web Reservation Services division has about four hosts for Web, you can create and monitor the following dashboards: By specializing in departments, you can reduce the granularity of monitored objects. In addition to the Node Status Monitor panel and the Alert Info panel, you can also monitor metric that you want to monitor specifically.

This dashboard shows the node-state, alert-information, HTTP request-duration, and CPU utilization on a per-host basis when there are four hosts. Even if there are no node errors or alerts, you can see when the load changes, so you can see when the load tends to be high, or when the load is getting higher than one month ago.
