15.4.2 Server network configuration

Check the following points regarding the server network configuration in which JP1/IM is to be used:

• Duplicate NIC

  Some OSs provide duplicate NIC functionality (for example, Windows NIC teaming) for switching to a standby NIC if the primary NIC fails. A server running JP1 that uses the duplicate NIC functionality must be completely compatible with non-duplicate NIC operations and must not affect JP1 operations.
