1.12.14 Enabling and disabling the activity snapping function

The activity snapping function aligns activities on a business process editor. With the snapping function enabled, when an activity in a business process is dragged to a location near the vertical or horizontal line of other activities, the activity is automatically aligned to the line.

The snapping function is enabled by default.

You can use either of the following methods to disable the snapping function.

Method 1

Drag an activity while holding down the Alt key.

Method 2 (cancel the snapping function for all activities)

1. From the Eclipse menu, select Window, and then Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog box opens.

2. In the left pane, select HCSC-Definer, and then Business process editor.

   The Business process editor page appears in the right pane.

   

3. Clear the Enable snapping of activities check box.

   

4. Click the Apply and Close button.
