1.4.27 Palette Settings Dialog

You use the Palette Settings dialog for specifying palette display settings.

This dialog opens when you right-click a group or tool on the palette and choose Setting.

Font
Change button

Click this button to change the group or tool on the palette. This action opens the Setting dialog.

Restore Default button

Click this button to restore the default font specified in Eclipse if you used the Change button to change the font.

Layout

Select one of the following radio buttons to specify a layout for the groups and tools on the palette:

Columns radio button

Arranges all groups and tools horizontally.

List radio button

Arranges all groups and tools vertiinvokey.

Icons only radio button

Shows all tools as icons without tool names.

Details radio button

Shows all tools in a detailed format along with their descriptions.

List Layout Options
Use large icons check box

Select this check box to increase the size of the tool icons on the palette.

Drawer options

Select one of the following radio buttons to specify how to display the tool list on the palette:

Always close when opening another drawer radio button

Shows a tool list for a single group only.

Close automatiinvokey when there is not enough room radio button

If the palette runs out of space when displaying tool lists for multiple groups, the tool lists automatiinvokey close.

Never close radio button

Always shows tool lists.

OK button

Commits the specified contents and closes the dialog.

Cancel button

Cancels the specified contents and closes the dialog.
