1.4.13 Assign Activity Sub Dialog

You use this dialog for adding or editing the Copy source and Copy destination to be defined in the Assign Activity dialog.

This dialog opens when you perform one of the following operations:

Copy source

Using the items listed below, specify the value to be specified in Copy Source of the Assign Activity dialog.

Variable radio button

Click this button to specify a variable in Copy Source, using a variable name or a variable name and a part name.

Name

From the drop-down list, select the variable name to be specified in Copy Source. The drop-down list shows only the variables that can be used of those defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog.

Edit button

The Variable-Correlation Set dialog opens. Click this button to edit the contents of the variable specified in Name.

Part name

When the variable selected in Name is message type, you can select a part name from the drop-down list. The drop-down list shows only the part names specified for the variable selected in Name.

Expression radio button

Select this radio button to specify a value (number, string, or Boolean value) or part of a message-type variable in the absolute path (in XPath) in Copy source.

Variable contents

To use a variable in Expression in Copy source, select the variable name to be displayed from the drop-down list. The drop-down list shows only the variables that can be used of those defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog.

Display button

Click to open the Showing Variable dialog. In the Showing Variable dialog, you can select the contents to be specified for the copy source from the contents of a variable of the message type specified in Variable contents, and acquire an absolute path (in XPath).

Value

To specify a number, string, or Boolean value in Copy source, specify the respective value.

The value to be specified differs depending on whether a message-type or non-message-type variable was selected in Variable contents. For details about the value to be specified, see the manual Service Platform Basic Development Guide.

Copy destination

Using the items listed below, specify the value to be specified in Copy Destination in the Assign Activity dialog.

Variable

From the drop-down list, select the variable name to be specified in Copy Destination. The drop-down list shows only the variables that can be used of those defined in the List Of Variables And Correlation Sets dialog.

Edit button

The Variable-Correlation Set dialog opens. Click this button to edit the contents of the variable specified in Variable.

Part name

When the variable selected in Variable is message type, you can select a part name from the drop-down list. The drop-down list shows only the part names specified for the variable selected in Variable.

OK button

Commits the defined contents to the Assign Activity dialog and closes the dialog.

Cancel button

Closes the dialog without committing the defined contents to the Assign Activity dialog.
