5.1.5 Format of the messages (KDCCC) output by development support commands

The format of the messages output by the development support commands is as follows:

KDCCCnnnn-Y Message text

The description of each item is as follows:

KDCCCnnnn

This indicates a message ID.

The elements configuring a message ID are as follows:

  • KDCCC

    This indicates the prefix of the messages output by the development support commands.

  • nnnn

    This indicates the message number managed in the development support command. A unique four-digit number is assigned to each message.

Y

This indicates the message type.

The following types of messages are output by the development support commands:

  • E (ERROR): This message reports that a failure has occurred.

  • I (INFORMATION): This message reports information.

  • W (WARN): This message reports a warning.

Message text

This indicates the message contents.
