Format
cjmsicmd pause dst [-t destination-type -n destination-name] [-b host-name : port-number]
Function
Temporarily stops the message delivery for the physical destination.
If the destination type and the destination name are not specified, all the physical destinations are stopped temporarily.
Arguments
- -t destination-type

Specifies a destination type. You can specify the following destination types:

q: Queue

t: Topic

- -n destination-name

Specifies the destination name.
- -b host-name : port-number

Specifies the host name and the port number by delimiting them using a colon (:).
Return values
- 0:

The command is terminated normally.
- 1:

The command is terminated abnormally.
Notes

This command is ignored, if executed for the physical destinations that are stopped temporarily.

If you want to temporarily stop a dead message queue, stop the dead message queue at the end so that you can receive the messages from other physical destinations. Also, while restarting, first restart the dead message queue.
