3.1.2 Provider URL
Specify the access protocol for the CORBA Naming Service, the name of the host on which the CORBA Naming Service is running, and the port number used by the host in the following format:
protocol-name::host-name:port-number
Note that the connection destination batch server is used as the corresponding CORBA Naming Service. Only corbaname is supported as the access protocol.
In host-name, specify the name of the host on which the CORBA Naming Service is running. However, if a value is specified for the vbroker.se.iiop_tp.host key in usrconf.properties (user property file for batch servers) of the connection destination batch server, specify the value specified for the vbroker.se.iiop_tp.host key in host-name.
The host-name is omitted in the following cases:
-
When the value of the ejbserver.naming.protocol key of usrconf.properties (system property file for server management commands) is used as the access protocol.
-
When the value of the ejbserver.naming.host key is used as the host name.
-
When the value of the ejbserver.naming.port key is used as the port number.
The default value of host-name is as follows:
-
ejbserver.naming.protocol key: corbaname
-
ejbserver.naming.host key: localhost
-
ejbserver.naming.port key: 900
