I.5 Notes on remote installation

When you perform a remote installation for the component software of each product, make sure you implement remote installation for the product before you perform remote installation for the component software. The remote installation of the component software is implemented according to the specified product installation destination.

Depending on the specification, the installation destination for a new installation is as follows:

If both drive and path are omitted (default value is used)

The name-of-drive-where-system-is-installed:\Program Files\Hitachi\Cosminexus directory is created, and the product or component software is installed.

If the drive is specified

The \Program Files\Hitachi\Cosminexus directory is created in the specified drive, and the product or component software is installed.

If the path is specified

The product or component software is installed in the specified path.

Update installation is performed to the same directory as the existing version of the product.
