4.1.25 Resource adapter settings
Use the resource adapter for connecting to the database from the J2EE application on the J2EE server. Other than the database, you can use resources such as OpenTP1, SMTP server, and JavaBeans resources on the J2EE server. Depending on the type of resource, the resource adapter might or might not be used for connection. For details on the types of resources and how to connect, see 3.3.1 Method for connecting to resources in the uCosminexus Application Server Common Container Functionality Guide.
Also, the method of acquiring the Connector Property file differs, depending on whether DB Connector or any other resource adapter is used for connecting to the resource. If you use DB Connector, you can use the template of the Connector Property file for editing before you start the system. If you use a resource adapter other than DB Connector, you can edit by acquiring the Connector Property file after starting the system.
