uCosminexus Application Server System Setup and Operation Guide

3.2.7 System setup and definition information

System setup and definition information is the definition file that describes the type of logical server assigned to the setup system, and the setup of the resource adapter. This definition file also sets the operation environment for the management functionality. The following are typical examples of definition files:

Files related to system setup
  • Easy Setup definition file

This file defines a Web system that is setup with the command of the Smart Composer functionality. It also defines the timeout time that applies to requests and responses sent and received between the reverse proxy and the Web container.

  • Connector Property file

This file defines the properties of the resource adapter.

  • cosminexus.xml (Cosminexus Application Property file)

This file defines the definition information related to EJB-JAR, Session Bean, Entity Bean, Message-driven Bean, WAR, folder, servlet/JSP and the resource adapter. It defines the definition information unique to Application Server.

Definition file for the operating environment of the management functionality
  • manager.cfg (Manager Setting file)

This file specifies Management Server, Administration Agent, the properties common to the components and commands that operate on the Management Server as well as Administration Agent respectively. manager.cfg (Manager setting file) is used in the common settings of log output destination and number of files.

  • adminagent.properties (Administration Agent Property file)

This file specifies the properties of Administration Agent. This file is used in the settings of the operation check level of the logical server, and the collection destination of the snapshot log.

  • mserver.properties (Management Server Environment Setting file)

This file specifies the properties of Management Server. This file is used in the environment settings of the Management Server and the settings for operations of commands during error detection.

If you acquire these files in the host different from Application Server when setting up a system or changing the settings, you can use these files to check the previous setup and definition information settings in case of an error occurrence.
